'Classical' Music?

In common useage, 'classical' music refers to a wide variety of music created over the last 400 years or so - the range of styles and genres is vast - and it is probably best described for our purposes by the types of ensembles that play it.
These vary from solo artists such as harpists or pianists through small groups such as string quartets to larger ensembles such as choirs or orchestras.

What kind of Classical Music is right for my event?

Classical musicians generally have a wide ranging repertoire and can accomodate their performances  to the audience or occasion's requirements. A string quartet, for example can play light salon music of all types for background ambience at one event, or more demanding concert pieces appropriate for serious listening at another.
